Students of the Month – March 2020

Note: Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and school being canceled, we did not receive any nominations from Parker High School this month. This is the final set of Students of the Month for the 2019-20 school year.

The Janesville Lions Club is proud to present its Students of the Month for March 2020. The club honors two students from each of Janesville’s two public high schools during each month between October and May every school year.

During their month, the students attend our bi-monthly meetings and learn more about the Lions Club and our community service projects. Each student receives a certificate signed by the Lions Club president in honor of being selected as a Student of the Month.

Parents: Andrew Gregg and Rebecca Gregg

Clubs/extracurricular activities: National Honor Society; National Science Honor Society; National Spanish Honor Society; National Art Honor Society; Investment Club; Letter Woman’s Club; Blue Ribbons Club; Varsity Soccer; Varsity Basketball.

My interests include: Playing basketball and soccer, working out, spending time with my friends, reading, painting, and listening to music.

Post-graduation plans: Attend the University of Madison Wisconsin and study in the field of biomedical sciences.

Parents: Eric and Joanna Schumann

Clubs/extracurricular activities: I am a member of National Honors Society as well as Spanish National Honors Society. I also am the captain of the wrestling team as well as a member of the Craig football team. I am a commissioner for Link Crew.

My interests include: I enjoy playing the guitar. My favorite sports are wrestling and football. I also enjoy collecting and shopping for shoes.

Post-graduation plans: After I graduate, I plan on attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and majoring in Biology with a medical career track.
